Pakistan Exports its First Locally Assembled Car

According to Changan Master Motors, Pakistan has shipped its first locally assembled car, a crossover SUV. It is the Changan Oshan X7, which was recently released in Pakistan. The business also stated that the X7 would be the first car to be released through a worldwide RHD premiere in March 2022. The first unit was shipped to a market in Oceania, which includes Australia and New Zealand. “Pakistan is the only country outside of China that produces the latest model of Oshan X7,” the business stated.

According to the company’s CEO, Danial Malik statement, the automobile was shipped under the new Auto Industry Development and Export Policy (AIDEP 2021-2026). The existing auto policy requires automakers to commence vehicle exports to assist the local sector flourish.
