Philip Morris (Pakistan) Limited wins three various GDEIB Awards

Philip Morris (Pakistan) Limited (PMPKL) has won the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Benchmark (GDEIB) Awards in three categories. The company received these awards in recognition of its efforts for workplace diversity and inclusivity. These three categories were:

  • Advancement & Retention
  • Job Design, Classification & Compensation
  • Work-Life Integration, Flexibility & Benefits.

Philip Morris International Inc. (PMI) is a tobacco multinational. Its products are distributed in more than 180 countries. Marlboro is the company’s most well-known and best-selling product. Philip Morris International is frequently referred to as one of Big Tobacco’s firms.

HR Metrics conducted GDEIB awards. Organizations were given the opportunity to disclose their diversity, equity, and inclusion accomplishments with a focus on social and economic impact on all stakeholders. The awards were based on merit-based rankings on a scale of 1-5. These were with the objective of assisting organizations in becoming sustainable via inclusive cultural and behavioral transformation.

Director People and Culture at PMPKL, Mirela Spagovic stated that “At PMPKL, we consider diversity as a strength and are committed to developing an inclusive culture and workplace.” Expressing her thanks for GDEIB’s acknowledgment of the company’s efforts she further said, “As a result, we are focusing on establishing an atmosphere in which our workers can contribute, use their abilities, share their thoughts and viewpoints, and feel appreciated. We are always trying to create a welcoming environment that inspires and empowers employees, as well as to achieve workplace equity.”
