Apple iPhone 14 Expected to Upgrade its Selfie Camera

Apple I phone is always known for its best camera. Every upcoming model has better camera features than the previous ones. It’s mostly the rear facing camera that gets upgraded with every coming generation of Apple I phone. Apple is expected to announce the next-generation iPhone 14 series in September. There will be four new models in the future lineup: the iPhone 14, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max, and the new iPhone 14 Max. Apple will not be releasing the Mini model this time. According to rumors last month, the iPhone 14 selfie camera will be one of the most significant changes. The most recent information has revealed further specifics on the iPhone 14 series selfie camera.

According one of the well-known Apple Insider Ming-Chi Kuo, the upcoming iPhone 14 will deliver the most significant selfie camera upgrade with an improved photo and video experience from the front cameras in years. He further said that it is expected that LG Innotek and Cowell will provide Apple with quality camera parts like CCM (compact camera module). Sony will be providing sensors as always. Genius and Largan will provide lenses. The VCM orders or focus modules will come from Alps and Luxshare. The selfie camera will have auto focus features. The iPhone 14 selfie cam will also have a 6P lens instead of the existing 5P. That’s a lens with six internal elements. The more elements, the better the photo quality. But it is also to be noted that 6P lens are 20% more expensive than 5P lenses. That’s why the price will be quite higher as compared to the last generations.

Furthermore, the iPhone 14 Pro models will get the biggest update, a 48-megapixel sensor for the first time ever. It has autofocus with ultrawide camera. it will be Apple’s first 8K camera with a slight increase in the bump of the camera.
